The venue coordinator’s focus is to make sure the room is set properly, the staff is in appropriate uniform, the food has been prepared to perfection, and everything is running on time. The venue coordinator is not able to help assist your guests find their tables if they are trying to locate the wedding party and get them lined up for your entrance!
A planner, on the other hand, is focused solely on you for the day. They make sure that you feel at ease, and don’t have to worry about any of the setup or cleanup for the wedding. The list of details the planner handles is endless. A key role of your planner is coordinating all of your vendors so that no moment is missed, and everyone who has a part in the wedding is right where they should be.
