Parents who are looking to get the most out of their Amazon Prime memberships — you know, aside from the discounted diapers and access to free two-day shipping — are in luck. That’s because three new or returning Amazon original series premieres will be released this fall. And by the looks of it, your kids will love them.
Wishenpoof : New season premiered on Sept. 26
Wishenpoof’s main character, Bianca, is a fairy who can grant wishes using wish magic. This Amazon original series follows her thought process as she thinks, decides and solves problems in her own creative way. Whether she’s at home in Wish World, at the Willow Tree with her fairy friends or at school with her non-fairy friends, Bianca and her teddy bear sidekick, Bob, navigate day-to-day problems with a little help from Bianca’s mom — and of course, wish magic. Even better? This gorgeously-animated series features a new song by Bianca in each episode for little ones to sing along.
Season two of Wishenpoof was released on Sept. 26. You can also use your Amazon Prime membership to catch up on season one here. (Season one is rated 4.7 out of 5 stars by customers with 79 percent 5-star reviews.) And hey, even if you’re not a Prime member, you can give Wishenpoof a test-run by watching the full first episode of season one here.
If You Give a Mouse a Cookie: New series premieres on Nov. 7
This brand-new Amazon original series is based on the beloved books written by Laura Numeroff and illustrated by Felicia Bond. (It’s also executive-produced by Numeroff and Bond. Plus, Emmy Award-winning writer Ken Scarborough serves as the head writer.) If You Give a Mouse a Cookie follows the adventures of Mouse, Oliver, Moose, Pig, Cat and Dog, as they discover that when you’ve got a curious mouse for a friend, one thing always leads to another, then another and then another. (The pilot is rated 4.7 out of 5 stars by customers with an 82 percent 5-star review.)
If you’re a Prime member, you can watch the full first episode here.
The Stinky & Dirty Show: New season premieres in Fall 2017
Based on the I Stink! book series written by Jim and Kate McMullan, The Stinky & Dirty Show chronicles the adventures of two best friends: Stinky the garbage truck and Dirty the backhoe loader. This dynamic (and hilarious) duo learn that asking “what if” when things don’t go as expected can lead to success. Although the first season premiered in 2016, be on the lookout for season two this fall. (Season one is rated 4.8 out of 5 stars by customers with 87 percent 5-star reviews.)

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CmJfAiKifuI]I don’t know about you, but I’m particularly excited for the If You Give a Mouse a Cookie series. My kids have read every book in this series, and the show looks absolutely adorable. Plus, this mama’s getting tired of watching the same three movies (Sing, Trolls and Inside Out, thanks to my 3-year-old) over and over and over and over and over … Yeah, it’s way past time to branch out.
