Hannah Threlkeld and Jermaine Harrison met at Watermark Community Church’s coffee shop in March 2017. Jermaine noticed Hannah from across the room and made an excuse to introduce himself, and they had their first date a few weeks later. Fast forward one year: Jermaine proposed to Hannah on a day trip to Austin with a heartfelt collection of photos in separate envelopes from their dating life. “Little did she know that the last envelope would contain a letter describing all the reasons why I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her,” Jermaine says. The couple walked down the aisle on December 2, 2018, at The Nest at Ruth Farms, where they let the simplicity of the barn speak for itself with touches of greenery and light florals. Their night of celebration was filled with delicious food from Magdalena’s, an Avoca coffee station, and dancing.
Petals and Paper
The invitation suite nodded to the colors of the wedding-day florals.
Pick a Card
The creative ombre touch to the place cards was designed by the couple’s planner, Ambra Portillo.
Coffee, Anyone?
The evening included catering by Magdalena’s, speeches from their loved ones, and individual pour-overs by Avoca Coffee Roasters to create the bride’s favorite evening treat: decaf coffee with dessert.
Beautiful Blooms
The couple worked with their planner to choose loose, organic florals with shades of purple and pops of blush and cream.
