“I wanted my wedding to feel like a Frank Sinatra song,” says Sarah Harvey of her autumnal nuptials to Michael Newman. Hosted at Fearing’s restaurant in The Ritz-Carlton, her dreamy “garden-inspired dinner party” was one for the ages. A veteran of the wedding industry herself, Sarah knew she wanted an intimate day centered around details that would be special for her and her future spouse. She opted out of a large wedding party, for instance, in favor of “honorary couples” whose marriages the couple admire that preceded her down the aisle. The night ended with a reception lit from the glow of hundreds of tea lights, as the couple danced to the classics with their loved ones—but not before a surprise visit with Jerry Jones, who just so happened to be at the restaurant. For the Dallas Cowboys super-fan bride, it was “definitely a highlight to an already special day.”

Sarah chose a 100-inch Sara Gabriel “Julianne” veil with a blusher to accent her Jenny Yoo “Marnie” slip dress.
Al Fresco
Dinner was held al fresco on the Fearing’s open-air patio known as The Ocaso. With only 42 guests in attendance, the intimate affair had the feel of an elegant dinner party.
