What makes a wedding at The St. Anthony Hotel something to talk about?
Both intimate and grand, the St. Anthony Hotel has been the jewel of San Antonio since it opened in 1909. Having hosted royalty such as Princess Grace and King and Queen of Spain, the property features stunning event and reception spaces that can accommodate anywhere from five to 500 guests and will transport you back in time with their classic style and elegance. The hotel’s Peacock Alley—framed by archways, historic crown molding, and grand chandeliers—makes a picture-perfect backdrop to make any bride feel like a princess.

What is one of the most lavish weddings to take place at The St. Anthony Hotel?
One reception featured over 20,000 tulips wrapped entirely around the Anacacho Ballroom balcony.

How are you different from other wedding venues?
We are a historic hotel located just blocks from the San Antonio Riverwalk, with beautiful Travis Park as our “front yard.” A few blocks in the other direction is the Alamo, which is a fun place to take pictures in your gown and tuxedo. Our ballrooms are each unique and do not have any air walls—the temporary partitions you sometimes see in oversized ballrooms to downsize the space. Each room has an elegant signature look.

Our historic hotel was built in 1909. The entire property exudes the type of elegance, beauty, and grandeur that brides often see in their dreams. Throughout the years we have had the privilege of hosting many families that grew up attending events at The St. Anthony. We often hear reflections of special occasions that have taken place within these walls. A favorite memory: “When I was a little girl, I used to come to The St. Anthony Hotel with my family for brunch wearing my little white gloves.”

In addition to being conveniently located near many San Antonio attractions, we are also centrally located in the state and country, making it accessible for guests to travel from near and far to join you on your special day.
